Pepsi awarded a $23,000 Pepsi Refresh grant to Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection (HW-SC) in December. The grant is part of the multi-million dollar Pepsi Refresh program to fund good ideas, big and small, that make the world a better place. The monies will help support HW-SC’s expansion in Syracuse City School District middle and high schools.

According to HW-SC – Syracuse Executive Director  Wayne O’Connor,  “The generous support from Pepsi Refresh helps us address the needs of even more Syracuse City School District youth. These funds will go a long way toward helping our students stay focused on their future and become positive, contributing members of our society.”
